So much to say, so much to say. Been playing with the knapping still. Went to a seminar this past weekend. Not to sound ungrateful, but I really don't think it was worth what I paid for it. And, I'm not trying to sound omniscient or anything, either because I know there's far more I have to learn about the craft. And, that's not to say that I learned nothing from the class. I learned a bit more about thinning and reduction flaking, so that's a plus. I'm not sure what I was looking for going in. Ah well. I enjoy what I'm doing and nobody can change that.
I'm not going to lie to you; there's nothing like listening to Paul Potts while making potato soup. It's pretty great.
Been watching the machine with BJS. Got to open up some new ground on the other side of the site. There's people in tearing down stuff that needs to come down. It's all happening. Things are going. MCT gave BJS and I a tour of our limits today, and wow. I'd never gotten to see the full extent of what we're doing.
Picked up an old movie I'd lost in the move to our new place a few years ago: Six String Samurai. Have yet to watch it again. But, the other one I picked up with it, Sukiyaki Western Django, I did get to watch and it was superb. I don't care what the critics say. Spaghetti Western meets Kung Fu String combat.
Anywho, getting to be soup season. Grabbed a couple thermoses to maybe have warm lunch in the field. We'll see tomorrow.
Soup needs stirred.
