Breaking ground.

Being lazy, but lots of things going on. Back in the field and machine stripping. Have a good portion around a big historic area opened up. Ran into a problem where we left our proposed surface level too high and weren't getting good definition for features. 3 passes later and we have what we want, but it's a total cluster f. Areas with upwards of 4 structures on top of one another; basin, WT or otherwise. But it's nice to be back out, weather pending.

It got a little cold. Like piss steaming off the plastic urinal cold. Can see my breath and that condensation is freezing in my beard cold. But it's warming up. Could be worse, could be snowing.

MCT has already started the interview process. Lots of anticipation concerning the new people. Wondering if the crew will reach the max size this summer (90), the powers that be seem to be pushing for it.

Sticking to new dietary change, mostly. Noodles, rice, and tortillas really kill my calorie intake. But, they taste so good. The real wild card is supper. I know that usually breakfast and lunch will equal a set amount of calories. Oatmeal(b) and pbj(l) don't usually shift much. It's that creativity that comes when we get home that gets me.

Watched Stranger Than Fiction again. Still good. Will Ferrell should do more movies like that.

As promised before, here's a picture of the compass on my right forearm. Couldn't get the sun and stars under my neck on my back. The wife went to bed already and I can't get the camera to do it right. Pic taken with my new Sony Ericsson c905a. The Palm died. It served me well, though.
