One End of the Spectrum to the Other

Well, it was just plain unpleasant last week in that it was wet, muddy, and wet. This week it's hot. Humid, sticky, hot. I could bitch more, but it wouldn't make it any cooler. So, I'm trying to figure out a way to cool off. One of the guys in the field has a shemagh. The new hat I bought is a little heavy for the heat. It doesn't really breathe, the head gets hot and sweaty... smelly, you know the story. So... I'm considering the headwrap. It looks airy, yet covers the head (and face if necessary). The wife thinks I could be mistaken as a "person of interest." I think it's the beard, she thinks it's the everything else including the beard. So... I'm exploring other options. Still looking at it for the cold weather.

Brought out 5 more new folks. Lots of non-features in the sand. Mondays make my head want to explode. Apparently I come off as extremely flustered on Mondays. Just alot of things to do. It's nice around Wednesday when everything's kind of on autopilot and people know where they need to be.

Picked strawberries this past Sunday to try and get acclimated to the heat. Making jam tonight. Had shortcakes yesterday. They were a delight. Off to stir the pot.
